I AM COLLEGE MATERIAL

Amid civil unrest, economic turmoil, and mass chaos,  it’s easy to feel as though America is regressing. However, in previous times like this, people of color have thrived and found ways to extend life unto the next generation. Our organization follows in the steps of our predecessors to overcome setbacks and provide the best for future generations. Through their experiences, we recognized the importance of education & representation and how they influence our future.  

Our goal as an organization is to illustrate ALL students of color are college material, regardless of circumstances. We offer materials, seminars, community services opportunities, and mentoring to help youth along their journey.  

By July 2023, we hope to empower 500+ minority students. We will focus on underprivileged youth in low-income areas and encourage them to attend events, where we will dismantle any apprehension associated with seeking higher education. Students will receive continuous support and will be granted opportunities to connect with: peers who face similar challenges and graduates who made it through. Our organization will work to ensure that each of our students is accepted into an institution upon graduation, in addition to drafting plans so students can finance this investment with minimal debt.
